Justin Bieber Taking a Break? Pop Star Heeds Miley Cyrus' Advice After Wrapping Tour

Justin Bieber is taking a break after completing his the North American leg of his worldwide tour in Atlanta, Ga. Saturday night. The Canadian pop phenomenon's break won't be very long lived, though, as the next part of the "Believe" tour will begin in a little more than a month in Thailand.

Justin Bieber's decision to take a break was revealed via his Twitter account after finishing the show. During the last night of his stay in Atlanta, he had rapper Ludacris join him for a bit, and made sure to thank him in his message to his leagues of fans.

"If it was gonna end it ended right. Last show in ATL was epic tonight! Love to my big bro Ludacris for coming thru," he posted on the microblogging site. "Happy to have a break but already miss the stage, the crew, the team, the band, the dancers, the fans. I love all of u."

"Thank u. Grateful … I love what I do," he continued. "I love performing. Thanks to everyone helping me live my dream. Now gonna get some rest. Much love."

The last night of Bieber's tour featured more surprises for fans as well: British boy group The Wanted opened up for the pop star, and Ariana Grande had Nathan Sykes sing a duet of "Almost Is Never Enough" during her set.

It seems Bieber's break comes not long after fellow pop sensation Miley Cyrus spoke with him. She told the 19-year-old singer to take a break in light of all the negative press he'd been receiving- Bieber was videotaped urinating into a mop bucket in a club, screaming foul epithets and curses at paparazzi and other shenanigans.

"I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren't so obsessed with you and nitpick," Cyrus told The Sun U.K. "When you're not around, all they want is your music. They want to see what the next thing is. But when your music is out they just want to talk s--- about you."

"He's still stupid though," she added. "But everyone does dumb stuff when they are messed up, and he's done dumb stuff. If it was your friend p------ into a mop box then you would be laughing, but because it's Justin Bieber, then it's really bad."

Bieber's Asian leg of his "Believe" tour will start in Thailand Sept. 26.
