Kandi Burruss Wedding Date, Real Housewives of Atlanta Spinoff Show Revealed?

Kandi Burruss may be getting married next month and be gearing up for her own spinoff series to document the event.

Burruss, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" singer-songwriter and producer, will reportedly be married in early April, according to straightfromthea.com reports. The blog is also claiming that the singer will film her nuptials with her fiance and television producer Todd Tucker for reality television cameras.

Despite the reports and rumors, Burruss recently said that she was not ready to confirm her wedding date.

"We are moving forward," she revealed as the cover girl of Jet magazine's March 31 issue. "I have a date, but I'm not saying."

The fact that her mother does not approve of the nuptials has hindered the wedding planning process for Burruss.

"I haven't decided yet if I want something that's small and just us or if we wanted to do something bigger and invite people. What was stopping me from even planning is the fact that my mom is not being supportive," she told ABC News radio last year. "It's like, okay do I really want to have a wedding and my mom may not show up or if she does show up she's going to be mean and negative? You know, you don't want the bad energy either."

When questioned about the possibilities of filming a wedding spinoff series to document her exchanging nuptials with her fiance, Burruss did not seem too sure that it would be a good idea.

"Well right now we haven't made the decision to that, so I'm not sure. For me it's not that great of an idea just because we've got to add a stretcher to a day that's already stressful," Burruss previously told thejasminebrand.com. "Plus, I have a lot of craziness going on in my family around the whole subject of me getting married, so I'm dealing with all of that."
