Kanye West Helping Kim Kardashian's Style 'Evolve'

Kanye West made his first appearance on girlfriend Kim Kardashian's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality television series on Monday night, where the world learned what many have been suspecting for some time – that the 35-year-old rapper has had a hand in dressing the reality television star.

Although Kardashian co-owns her own fashion boutique called Dash and collaborated on clothing lines with major retail stores like Bebe and Sears, as soon as West arrived for his first scene on Monday's episode, the socialite asked her boyfriend for approval concerning her attire.

"Hi babe. I'm so excited you're coming tonight," Kardashian greeted her boyfriend in the show's latest episode.

While Kardashian attempted to add the finishing touches to the outfit that she would wear to soon-to-be brother-in-law Scott Disick's New York restaurant opening, she consulted West when accessorizing her little black dress.

"Don't you think this clutch is too busy for this," Kardashian asked her boyfriend.

The reality television star then proceeded to hold up two gold bracelets for her rapper boyfriend, which he approved with a "yea."

She then proceeded to show her boyfriend a few more pieces of jewelry to which he responded, "That's nice."

Although the scene ended shortly thereafter, some reports have said that West has a hand in Kardashian's appearance even after the cameras are rolling. In May, The Sun reported that West was coaching Kardashian about how to evolve her style.

"Kanye has been having chats with Kim about her style. Kanye says she plays it safe too much so has been trying to pick outfits for her to wear and encourage her to be more daring," a source reportedly told the publication. "He thinks she should be more like him, edgy with her choices. He keeps saying she should 'evolve' as a fashion icon."

While the couple has been pictured together since March, fans can keep up with the pair and their evolving style in "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" on Monday nights at 9 p.m.
