Kate Heel Stuck: Kate Middleton Gets Stiletto Stuck in Grate at St Patrick's Day Parade (VIDEO)

Kate Middleton got her heel stuck in a drain grate as she attended a St. Patrick's Day parade at the Aldershot Barracks on Sunday.

The incident caused her husband Prince William, who is Colonel of the Regiment and was dressed in full ceremonial uniform, to laugh. Middleton had to bend down to use her hand to pull the stiletto out of the drain as she too giggled along.

All through the incident another fully kitted out soldier was also with them who stood saluting and waiting for the Duchess to resolve her issue. He too could be seen at one point chuckling at the comical incident.

The Duchess was able to quickly get her shoe loose and continue her official duties. She was in attendance at the event to present sprigs of shamrocks to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards.

For the event the Duchess wore a green Emilia Wickstead dress coat, as well as a black hat, and the Queen Mother's gold shamrock brooch.

Middleton has been in the news even more than usual recently as her baby bump continues to grow. At Sunday's event her baby bump was not visible through her green coat though, although her pregnancy was reportedly the topic of some discussions she held with members of the Irish Guard.

Guardsman Lee Wheeler has said: "I was talking to her about the baby, of course. I asked her, 'Do you know if it's a girl or boy?', and she said, 'Not yet.' She said, 'I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl'. That's always the way," according to the Huffington Post.
