Kate Hudson's Action Movie, Better than Angelina Jolie?
Kate Hudson has turned to a life of crime, or at least that is to say that she has been spending her most recent time sealing the deal with Crime Scene Pictures and Anonymous Content for her new movie "Everly."
Kate Hudson has recently decided that she is ready to break out as an action star. When Crime Scene partners Adam Ripp and Rob Paris got hold of the news, they were more than happy to provide her with a role. "When we heard that Kate wanted to make the transition into an action star, we knew we had found our Everly. They physicality and intensity of this role will be transformative for her," Ripp and Paris said in announcing the project.
The film will be directed by Joe Lynch and has been developed using Yale Hannon's Black List script. If action is What Kate Hudson wants then action she shall get. Sierra/Affinity CEO Nick Meyer is sure "Everly" will be the right break out role into her action career. "Joe Lynch's vision for this film coupled with the talented minds of Adam and Rob provides the platform for an actress of Kate Hudson's caliber to make the transition into an action star.

The 32-year-old actress is perhaps more popular for her roles in "chick flicks" like "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" with Hollywood heartthrob Matthew McConaughey and more recently "Bride Wars" with Anne Hathaway.
The Hollywood Reporter gave a quick inside look to the film. "Lynch will begin shooting in May. The story-set entirely in one room, a concept created by Lynch -- revolves around a down-on-her luck woman who is forced to fend off assassins hired by her ex, a dangerous mob boss," the site reported.
Surprisingly, according to Parade, the number one action star is Jennifer Garner. The actress has also starred in chick flicks like "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" with none other than Matthew McConaughey, but is recognized for her roles in "Alias" and "Daredevils." Jessica Alba in "Fantastic Four" came in second, Ali Larter in "Heroes" in third, and Angelina Jolie in a distant sixth place.
