Kate Middleton Baby Bump Fake? Tabloid Accused of Using Photoshop (PHOTO)

Kate Middleton has found herself mired in a new photo scandal involving a US tabloid just days after winning an injunction in France which banned topless photographs of the Duchess.

The Duchess of Cambridge appears on the front cover of the latest issue of Star magazine and critics believe that the photo used has been digitally manipulated to make it appear as though she is pregnant. The tabloid claims that Middleton, 30, is pregnant with twins, a report which has not been confirmed by the Royal palace.

In the controversial photo Middleton is seen wearing a slim-fitting floral print dress and clutching a glass of what appears to be water, as she toasts the President of Singapore's wife, Mary Tan. during a Diamond Jubilee appearance on Sept. 11. However, celebrity gossip site Celebuzz.com reported that Star magazine may have Photoshopped the picture to create the illusion of a baby bump.

"When put side by side with the original, untouched image of Middleton, distinct differences materialize. Not only has is her floral slim-fit frock been mysteriously blown out - Photoshopped in magazine parlance - but Prince William's wife is mysteriously missing her right-hand ring on Star's "It's Twins!" cover," the website states.

Star magazine also claims that Middleton has gained weight in two bullet points which are under its headline. "Pregnant Kate gets thrilling news amid nude photo uproar... Up to 125lbs and showing," the tabloid's front cover states.

The new photo scandal follows months of speculation that Middleton and her husband of over one year, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, are expecting theIr first child.

The couple has reportedly been trying to conceive for some time and according to sources the pair is "delirious with joy" over their baby news.

"Friends say Kate is convinced it's happened, and while she and William are keeping the news close to the vest, they're delirious with joy," a source reportedly told Star magazine.

"A woman can always tell when the earliest signs appear, and it's believe that a passionate night together at their rented country house on an estate in Wales, just after the end of the London Olympics, did the trick," the insider added.
