Kate Middleton and Prince William made their first post-baby appearance together in Wales recently and the new mom reportedly opened up about baby George.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were emerged together publicly for the first time since welcoming the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis on Friday to kick off the Ring O'Fire Ultra Marathon in Anglesey. Middleton, who appeared happy and relaxed, reportedly revealed that the baby boy was not present because he was in the care of her mother, Carole.
"I said 'How's he (George) doing?' She said 'He's doing really well, he's with his grandma,'" one onlooker told the Telegraph U.K. Kate revealed that "George has been very good and is sleeping well."
The Duchess, whose parents moved in to Kensington Palace to assist with the baby, is said to be adjusting well to motherhood.
"We were talking about the joy she was having from George and how quick he was changing, she couldn't quite believe it. She's enjoying every minute of it."
"He's getting quite huge, she said," another insider revealed.
In July Middleton, 31, gave birth to baby George naturally and on Aug. 26 the Duchess of Cambridge emerged publicly looking noticeably slimmer. While critics have questioned whether she may have gone to extreme measures to shed her baby weight, sources insist her weight loss has not been intentional.
"Kate's still breastfeeding and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off, She's not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga," a source told Us magazine adding that Middleton has "hardly done anything to lose the weight ... she looks incredible. "
Dressed in casual wear and looking happy and relaxed, Middleton was photographed pushing her own shopping cart through the parking lot of her local Waitrose supermarket. Onlookers were reportedly in awe of her post-baby appearance.
"A few weeks after George was born, you could hardly tell she had just given birth," a source said.
