The case regards an incident last November when Williams tried to evade police while traveling on a three-wheeled motorcycle in the downtown streets of Sacramento.

California High Patrol officers chased Williams, however, they eventually dropped back and called off their pursuit citing public safety reasons, saying that continuing the chase would have put the public at risk.

Williams previously missed a court case hearing with regards to the case, and that led to him being arrested in Los Angeles.

In yet another run in with the police, Williams was also arrested soon after that for assaulting an employee at a Target Store.

The 39 year old actor currently has a number of projects he is working on, including Scary Movie V, as well as a number of TV programs.

Williams is best known for his role as Money Mike in Friday After Next.

He is also known for his stint on Nick Cannon's MTV improv show, Wild 'n Out, for playing the fictional character Bobby Shaw on the program My Wife and Kids, as well as providing the voice for the character "A Pimp Named Slickback" in The Boondocks and as himself in Grand Theft Auto IV.

Here is a video report showing Williams after he leaves the courtroom, talking to a reporter:
