Kendall and Kylie Jenner Don't Want to Be Kardashians, Reveal Older Sisters' Influence

Kendall and Kylie Jenner may be the youngest sisters in the Kardashian clan, but the reality television stars recently revealed that they do not want to share their eldest sister's famed last name.

Kendall, 17, and Kylie,15, recently opened up about their feelings concerning their last names, advice that they receive from their famed siblings and their significant others in a Glamour magazine report. While the pair does appear on the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality television show, they are happy with their last names, Jenner.

"We're full-throttle Jenners," Kendall exclaimed to Glamour. "We don't have any desire to be Kardashians."

While Kylie told the publication that their family is more important than their last name, both of the Jenners admit that they receive a great deal of advice from their famed Kardashian siblings.

"If we're fighting, we call Khloé. She's our peacemaker," Kendall told Glamour. "Kourtney keeps us down-to-earth."

Kylie also credited another Kardashian sister with giving them advice, telling the publication "Kim teaches us how to deal with the spotlight."

However, both sisters admit that living under the spotlight is not always easy.

"We appreciate everything that we have, but we don't remember what it's like to be normal kids who aren't harassed by the paparazzi. I hate that," Kendall revealed to Glamour. "We're underage girls. I don't want to be followed by random men I don't know. It can also be hard to deal with other kids who are jealous or mean. I can't post a picture on Instagram without being criticized."

Kylie seemed to agree with her sister's sentiments.

"No one really knows what we are like. People read about us on Twitter, but they don't know what we do all day long," Kylie told Glamour. "We don't really have privacy, but we have an aspect that people don't know about."

Still, both sisters seem happy to have a big family including their famed sisters' significant others who also give the girls advice.

"Lamar wants to meet any guy we're talking to," Kylie told Glamour of her sister Khloe's husband Lamar Odom before mentioning the father of eldest sister Kourtney's children Scott Disick. "Just yesterday Scott was going over the kind of guy I should date."

While it is not surprising that the youngest sisters of the Kardashians receive advice from their older siblings, some may be shocked to learn that Kim receives advice from her little sister. The 32-year-old reality television star admitted that little sister Kylie has served as her relationship advisor for years.

"She's such an old soul," Kim told British Cosmopolitan magazine last year. "I've been going to her for relationship advice for years. She has always steered me in the right direction since she was about 12. She would be like, 'OK, do not call him.'"
