Kim and Kanye's Baby: Jay-Z Visits Kardashian Newborn North West

Jay Z reportedly paid a visit to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on Sunday, six weeks after the Hollywood couple welcomed the birth of their daughter, North West.

The Hip Hop mogul, 43, reportedly spent quality time with the famous family before dining at gourmet restaurant, Gjelina, located in Venice Beach, California, according to Mail Online.

Jay Z and West, 36, are said to be close friends and the rapper and wife Beyonce reportedly gifted baby North with $7600 worth of gifts in early July.

"Kanye is one of Jay-Z's closest friends so he wanted to get the best gift. They've had a girl themselves, so they know the right type of present," a source told The Sun UK.

"They also brought their baby girl Blue Ivy to come over and meet North. She's old enough now to be really interested in babies," the source continued. "Any bad blood between the ladies has all been brushed under the carpet now Kim's a mum – Beyonce was even sharing weight-loss tips with her."

The report comes just weeks after it was claimed that Beyonce, 31, and her rapper husband spent $11,800 on a baby shower gift for Kardashian in lieu of Beyonce's absence from the event. The Grammy award-winning singer reportedly politely declined Kardashian's baby shower invitation because she is currently still on her Mrs. Carter world tour.

"Beyoncé and Jay-Z [gave Kim] a [$11,800] Swarovski crystal-studded high chair, designed by Carla Monchen," a source told The Sunday Mirror. "They had a similar one for their daughter Blue Ivy."

Kardashian's baby's name prompted mixed reactions in June, when it was shared with the public however Jay Z is said to be fond of the unique moniker. The "Tom Ford" rapper was previously asked what he thought about the name North West at a silent auction held at his 40/40 Club Monday and he responded by giving thumbs as a sign of his support, according to In Touch magazine.
