Kim Kardashian Apologizes to Kris Humphries Family

Kim Kardashian traveled to Minnesota Sunday to meet with Kris Humphries and a pastor to talk out their problems, but reports claim she wanted to apologize to the basketball player's family as well.

A source told the New York Post Kim regrets the “media attention and hurt this has caused them,” moreover “not calling them to explain before she filed for divorce.”

The same source said Kim hoped to talk to Kris' family without media interfering.

“She feels going to Minnesota to talk is the right thing to do, she is so embarrassed by the way everything turned out," said the source to TMZ.

The source also claimed she feels horrible for letting everyone down, but what hurt the most was when Kris acted as if he did not know about the divorce.

“He knew it was coming; they both knew things weren’t working," the source said. "But some part of Kim also misses Kris, and still wants him to be a part of her life."

Another rumor concerned Kim going to Minnesota to reconcile their marriage. Sources told TMZ a possible reconciliation is "up in the air."

The gossip website was informed their meeting with Pastor Joel Johnson went well. The ex-couple agreed they loved and respected each other, but they also realize there are many issues to work out.

The same sources told TMZ Kris was "ecstatic," and following the trip to Minnesota he now feels he can "win her back."

Kardashian is still unsure about moving forward, but she was at least willing to talk.

The reality star filed for divorce from her husband just 72 days after tying the knot, citing irreconcilable differences.

The star expressed her sorrow about the wedding through a message to her fans on her website last Tuesday.

In the statement Kardashian said she "married for love" and "would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show," although she admits getting "caught up" in all the attention surrounding the show.

The star takes "full responsibility" for her actions, and she said the wedding was never the fairy tale she "had so badly hoped for."

"When I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn't know how to and I didn't want to disappoint a lot of people," she wrote. "I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon."

The pair dated for nine months before marrying in August, with a televised two-hour ceremony special on E! News Channel.
