Kim Kardashian Borrows Look From Diana Ross (PHOTO)

Likely inspired by legendary performer Diana Ross, Kim Kardashian has surprised fans with a new look this week.

Hype Williams photographed the reality television star with massive curly hair and heavy eye and lip makeup by stylists Joyce Bonelli and Clyde Haygood on Thursday.

"Clyde Haygood and Joyce Bonelli glammed me up and we went for a fun, crazy look," Kardashian posted on her Celebuzz page. "Definitely a new look for me."

Ross, now 68 years old, is well known for her unique appearance. Formerly the lead singer for the Motown group The Supremes, the Detroit, Mich. native has always worn her naturally curly hair long and down around her shoulders.

Imitating the "Missing You" singer's style, Kardashian's hair was tightly curled and parted down the middle.

"Love this hair," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star added to her Twitter account along with a photo.

The photo shoot was not the first time the 31-year-old has worked with the photographer. Williams was behind the camera during Kardashian's Playboy magazine spread shoot in 2007, and he has also worked with Kardashian's boyfriend Kanye West on the rapper's highly acclaimed music video for "All of the Lights."

Kardashian's relationship with West continues to make headlines around the world, as the couple seems to be getting more and more serious.

"I've never seen Kim this happy," revealed Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner speaking to E! News. "She's calm, she's happy, she's content in her life right now. I think she's working hard, she loves what she's doing, she's passionate about her projects, and she's loving life right now."

Jenner also answered questions about the possibility of a second marriage and reality TV wedding for her second-eldest daughter, who divorced NBA star Kris Humphries earlier this year.

"My advice as a manager would be to get out of town as fast as you can and go to a secret location," said Jenner. "But you know, I might have a different opinion tomorrow. You just never know."
