Kim Kardashian Divorce: Will Reality TV Star Apologize to Humphries?

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries will reportedly come face-to-face for the first time in over a year on Friday in a last ditch effort to settle their divorce case before it's scheduled trial date.

It was revealed Wednesday that Humphries, 28, obtained new evidence in his case against Kardashian, 31, which reportedly supports his claim that the reality TV star married him for financial gain. Critics are now speculating that subsequently, Kardashian is feeling more compelled to give the NBA star what he wants to settle the case.

"Kris has never said he won't settle, but he has certain conditions and terms that he wants Kim to agree to that don't include money," a source told RadarOnline.com.

Contrary to what gossip website TMZ.com is reporting, the source insists that Humphries never demanded money from Kardashian because that is reportedly not what he wants. The Brooklyn Nets star is said to be seeking a public admission and apology from Kardashian which acknowledged his claims that she duped him into marrying her to boost her image.

"Put simply, if Kim were to formally apologize to Kris in court tomorrow— and if he felt it were sincere— he would likely agree to end the marriage and avoid the trial," the source revealed adding that Humphries also wants Kardashian to release a formal statement to the media apologizing.

"If Kim comes into court with an attitude and acting full of herself, Kris will absolutely take this to trial," the source went on.

In 2011, Kardashian married Humphries in an over-the-top lavish wedding ceremony that was televised by the E! Network. The business savvy reality TV star allegedly raked in an estimated $17.9 million through filming and by selling photo rights to People magazine, according to The New York Post.

72 days after the wedding, Kardashian abruptly filed for divorce, which prompted public backlash as critics began questioning just how genuine the marriage was.

In addition to using E! production and filming from Kardashian's reality TV show to support his claim in court, Humphries was reportedly planning to testify that he believes Kardashian wanted to end their marriage immediately after their honeymoon but waited to benefit her show "Kourtney & Kim Take New York."

"Kris was the one to push for the honeymoon. Kim didn't want to go on the honeymoon because they were scheduled to move to New York City to begin filming Kourtney & Kim Take New York," a source said.

"Kim finally relented. Kris was absolutely dumbfounded when a photographer appeared out of nowhere and started taking pics of them by the pool. Kim happily posed, and Kris realized her camp had arranged it," the source added.

TMZ.com, which has been criticized for having alleged bias in its reporting of the Kardashians, reported Friday that the reality TV star is looking forward to seeing Humphries in court because she allegedly still "loves" him.
