"Check out @krisjenner on @QVC's PM Style Show at 7PM EST tonight!" Kim tweeted during the explosions that took place in Boston on Monday.

However, Jenner drew the same ire as her daughter after sharing the message.

"This isn't the time for self promotion," one person tweeted. "Please unschedule your tweets."

While Jenner decided to follow up her promotional tweet by offering prayers during the Boston bombing, Kardashian made sure to mention the tragedy and later remove her promotional message amid the backlash.

"My heart is breaking for everyone affected or injured in the explosion at the Boston Marathon," Kardashian tweeted. "God bless you all! My prayers are with you!"
