Kim Kardashian Resting More After Pregnancy Scare

Kim Kardashian recently opened up about the hardships of pregnancy and following her doctor's orders. The news comes after making headlines for overcoming a reported miscarriage scare while carrying her future child.

Kardashian, 32-year-old star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, is expecting her first child with 35-year-old rapper and boyfriend Kanye West. However, the reality television star recently admitted that pregnancy is anything but easy.

"Being pregnant is not as easy as my sister made it look or as my mom has made it look," Kardashian said in a Perez Hilton report. "It's a little painful. I've gotten sick a couple times. It's getting a little bit more difficult."

Earlier this month, the reality TV star flew to Paris to visit West, but arrived in Los Angeles, Calif. feeling ill. After reportedly checking into a hospital, Kardashian made headlines for what some believed was a miscarriage scare.

"Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed. She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears," a source told The New York Post earlier this month. "She thought she was having a miscarriage."

Doctors allegedly advised Kardashian to slow down with her strenuous workout routines, and she admitted to following her physician's directions recently.

"I like to be active but I've been chilling out," Kardashian said. "I took a week off, just to rest and it was amazing."

Throughout her pregnancy, Kardashian has made it clear that she has had some adjusting to do. In fact, the reality television star said the process has been anything but fun.

"I wouldn't say that it's been easy," the reality TV star told "Entertainment Tonight" last December. "When people say pregnancy is fun and they love it, I would have to disagree."
