Kim Kardashian's First Interview Since Baby: Talks Kanye West, Weight Loss

Kim Kardashian is celebrating her birthday on Monday as her first interview since welcoming her daughter four months ago was released.

The reality television star opened up about baby weight and her boyfriend Kanye West just ahead of her 33rd birthday on Oct. 21.

In the recent interview with London's Sunday Times, Kardashian admitted that her fashion sense is now shaped by the father of her child, 36-year-old West.

"You want your guy to think you're really hot," she explained. "I'll put something on and [Kanye] will say, 'No, that doesn't look good.' And I'll trust him."

As for her baby North's clothes, Kardashian said her daughter "looks cute in light colors," causing the new mom to also prefer dressing in lighter colors.

Furthermore, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed that getting back to her pre-pregnancy weight has not been a top priority after welcoming her daughter on June 15, but that the Atkins diet has worked wonders for her.

"I haven't exercised a whole lot so far, just because I've been busy with the baby and I don't want to leave her," Kardashian explained to the Sunday Times. "I have some [baby weight] to go. Atkins worked for me and I don't feel tempted to eat a bunch of junk food. It's just about staying healthy- it will come off."

During her pregnancy, the television personality received intense criticism for her maternity fashion choices as well as for her weight gain, causing her to feel "completely destroyed," according to the Sunday Times.

Although the reality star has lost over 30 pound with the Atkins diet today, her trainer, Tracey Anderson, previously revealed Kardashian's outlook on exercise.

"She just loves the whole process," said the celebrity trainer speaking to Us Weekly in July. "From our talks during her pregnancy, I thought she was going to be really concerned [about her weight] once the baby was out, but she's really not… She's been in baby heaven."

"She's excited to get started, but she's really calm about it," Anderson noted.
