Kris Jenner Asks Khloe Kardashian to Put Baby Plans on Hold?

Khloe Kardashian has reportedly been advised by her mother to put her baby plans on hold for the sake of business.

The reality TV star, 28, and her husband of three years Lamar Odom, 35, have desperately been trying to conceive their first child since they wed. However, Jenner, 56, has allegedly insisted that they put aside their baby plans for Khloe's older sister Kim.

"Khloe and Lamar will not be having a child this year for two reasons. Kris Jenner wants Kim to be the focus with her child and all that will bring in endorsements and future shows," a source close to the situation told HollywoodLife.com.

The source also claims that due to Odom's career uncertainty, Jenner has asked that the couple wait to have their first child together.

"Lamar will be unemployed as his contract with the Clippers is up and he will be looking for a job," the source explained.

Jenner is said to be anxious about profiting off of Kim's pregnancy with a source claiming she is hoping that her daughter will get a lucrative weight loss deal after she gives birth. Kim is currently expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West, 25.

"[Kris'] been waiting for this news for a long time," an insider told OK! Magazine referring to Kim's pregnancy.

Jenner reportedly plans to "cash in by marketing baby products with weight loss endorsements when Kim wants to get back into shape after her pregnancy," according to the insider.

It is unclear whether Khloe and Odom have agreed to temporarily stop their baby plans, but in January, it was claimed that the former "X Factor" host was contemplating using a surrogate. The reality star is believed to suffer from fertility issues.

"She is being extremely thorough about the woman she will choose to carry her baby," a source previously told Star magazine. "She even says she would pay half a million dollars for the right woman!"
