Kris Jenner Wants to Manage Kanye West? 'Sure,' Says Rapper

Kanye West has reportedly agreed to have his girlfriend Kim Kardashian's mother and manager Kris Jenner also manage his career.

Jenner, 56, currently manages all of the Kardashian sisters including their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie and Kim recently convinced Kanye that giving Jenner control of his career will be highly beneficial and lucrative, according to Media Take Out.

"Kris [Jenner] is amazing in what she can get. If you're a [sic] celeb, she can get you big money for tweeting, for sitting at fashion show, for doing interviews … It was an easy sell, Kanye was like 'sure,'" a source told MTO.

Jenner, who recently helped her family secure the largest reality TV deal in US history with the E! network, will reportedly manage the rapper's publicity tours and appearances in conjunction with his DONDA fashion label to help boost international sales.

The mother of six is also said to be striving to gain control of his music career and concert tours, as she is convinced that is where the big money lies.

"That's where [Kris] can make a fortune of Kanye," the source explained. Managers are said to make an average of around 20 percent to 30 percent of generated revenue and West, 34, is said to be worth $90 million, according to celebritynetworth.com.

While some critics have applauded the deal as being lucrative on West's part, others fear that she may jeopardize the hip-hop mogul's success as she reportedly did with Khloe Kardashian's husband Lamar Odom.

Odom, a 13-year NBA veteran, was reportedly dropped by the Dallas Mavericks in April after months of posting disappointing stats which some critics attribute to his involvement in reality TV.

Odom and his wife created their very own spin-off reality TV show reportedly with the advice of Jenner, which some fans argue interfered with and ultimately ruined the 32-year-old's NBA career.

"Lamar should get the shows out of his system now, because nobody wants to deal with the headache it will bring to the locker room if a team signed him," one NBA insider told Hollywood Life, specifically referring to the Kardashian reality shows as "distractions."

West has already made appearances on one of the Kardashian reality TV shows, and Jenner is now pressuring him and Kim to have a televised wedding.

"Kris Jenner is ecstatic that Kim is dating Kanye; she can see their celebrity stock and wealth rising by the day! She has already told Kim that if they make it down the aisle they are going to do it on camera again," a source close to the Kardashian family told Radar Online.
