Kristen Stewart Being 'Patient' With Robert Pattinson; Understands Actor's Emotional Needs

Kristen Stewart has reportedly agreed to be patient with Robert Pattinson, amid claims that the actor is not ready to publicize their reconciliation.

In recent weeks the "Twilight" stars are believed to have rekindled their relationship, six months after they split. While Stewart, 23, is reportedly eager to tell fans that they are back together, the British actor, 27, wants to keep their relationship private for now.

Pattinson was left heartbroken in 2012 after Stewart admitted to cheating with a married man. While he is said to be rebuilding his trust with the "Camp X Ray" actress, he is simply not ready to play out their relationship for the public again.

"Kristen would love to go public with her new relationship with Rob, but she isn't going to force him to do anything that he's not comfortable with," a friend of Stewart's told HollywoodLife.com.

"This is a decision only Rob can make on his own and all Kristen can do right now and what she is doing is being patient and understanding," the source explained. "She is in this relationship for the long run."

In October the exes were photographed driving alongside one another in Beverly Hills, which fueled reports of a reconciliation.

The pair began dating in 2008, and are believed to have cut ties after parting ways in May, however, they began communicating again in October and reunited for a dog date.

"He has been very adamant with Kristen to keep everything hush-hush between them," the insider revealed. "Even though Kristen wants to go public, out of respect for Rob, she will continue to keep their love for each other to themselves - at least for the time being."

Pattinson is expected to leave the U.S. in the coming days to begin filming his new movie "Queen Of The Desert," and Stewart is currently working on her own upcoming film, "Anesthesia," in New York.
