Kristen Stewart Hosts Christmas Tree Party; Actress Spending New Year's Eve With Robert Pattinson?

Kristen Stewart reportedly hosted a Christmas tree party for close friends and family and while the actress has no plans to spend the festive holiday with Robert Pattinson, sources claim the exes may reunite for New Year's Eve.

Pattinson, who is currently working in London, reportedly invited Stewart, 23, to spend Christmas with his family in London however the actress decided it would be best for her to celebrate the holiday in Los Angeles. Sources claim Stewart's Dec. 22 Christmas tree party made her reminisce about Pattinson, 27.

"Kristen had a group of her friends over last night [Dec. 22] for a Christmas trees ornament exchange party at her house in Los Feliz," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"Kristen loves Christmas and everything involved with being festive, like decorating her tree, and putting lights up. Kristen and her friends had to find the goofiest ornaments, and the one who found the cheesiest got a bottle of wine," the source explained.

The "Camp X Ray" star split from the British actor in May however they reunited in October which fueled reconciliation speculation. Pattinson is currently abroad filming his upcoming movie "Queen Of The Desert" and therefore could not attend Stewart's party.

"[Kristen] loves Christmas and everything involved with being festive," the source said "Kristen and Rob used to have these kind of holiday parties all of the time. They both love this kind of quirky stuff."

The "Twilight" stars first began dating in 2008 and they have remained on-and-off ever since. They are both said to be rebuilding their friendship and sources claim that they are open to the idea of spending New Year's Eve together.

"She really wants to go to the Isle of Wight with Rob, and it's a possibility they may celebrate the new year there, like they have in the past," a source revealed.

"This is how she wants to bring in the new year — in a pub, drinking beers, laughing, listening to music with Rob," the insider explained.
