Kristen Stewart's $46,000 Birthday Gift From Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson reportedly splashed out on a lavish birthday gift for his girlfriend Kristen Stewart to mark her 23rd birthday.

The "Twilight" actor is rumored to have spent over $46,000 on a limited edition Bentley fountain pen which he reportedly presented to her while celebrating her birthday in California Tuesday. Stewart, 23, is said to be an avid collector of pens.

"Kristen has always collected pens, and has a variety of stylish ones. Rob decided to go big for her birthday this year and brought her a limited edition white gold Tibaldi Bentley Crewe fountain pen," a source allegedly told London's Daily Star newspaper.

"He had her name specially engraved on it with the year and wording: 'From R'. There are only 40 of these pens in the world, so it's a real collector's item," the source revealed.

The couple, who has dated on-and-off for four years, celebrated with 40 of Stewart's closest friends by having dinner at Mexican restaurant Malo in Los Feliz, Calif. The gift is said to be amongst the some of the most items that Pattinson, 26, has ever purchased for the "Snow White and The Huntsman" actress.

"The pens have a two-tone 18-carat yellow gold nib covered in rhodium and ruthenium. The barrel is identical to Bentley's dashboard used in their earliest car," the source said.

In addition to the pen, Pattinson reportedly presented Stewart with an antique bracelet. The couple appears to be in a better space following their 2012 cheating scandal.

In July, Stewart publicly admitted to cheating on Pattinson with her married "Snow White" Director, Rupert Sanders." The pair split but eventually got back together before the year's end.

"They've been taking it slowly, but Kristen has gradually won back his trust. Rob has taken a giant leap by officially suggesting they buy a love nest together," the source revealed.
