Lamborghini Egoista Concept Car Revealed, Made for the 'Selfish' Driver
The Lamborghini Egoista was introduced by Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of the company, during a dinner party that was held as the company wrapped up its week-long celebration of itself.
Never a company to miss a moment, Lamborghini concluded its 50th anniversary celebration by revealing the new concept car named the Lamborghini Egoista. It is aimed at the most narcissistic and self-indulgent millionaires that many envy.
The introduction of the new concept car was just one of the many headlines the event captured, including the moment 350 Lamborghinis drove through Italy to pay tribute to the famed Italian automaker, Auto Car India reported.

The car was designed by Walter De Silva, who drew inspiration for the vehicle from the Apache helicopter. Earlier reports have confirmed the car is made mostly out of carbon fiber and that the cockpit canopy can be removed to create a convertible as well as reduce weight.
"I am very attached to this Italian brand, being an Italian myself. I wanted to pay homage to and think up a vehicle to underline the fact that Lamborghinis have always been made with passion, and with the heart more than the head," Silva wrote of the car.
The Egoista, meaning "selfish" in Spanish, is named for the fact that it can only fit one person and is stripped of all amenities so that all the focus can be on utilizing all 600 horsepower.
"This is a car made for a single person, to have fun and to express their own personality," De Silva said during the unveiling. "It is designed for people who want the most extreme and most special things in the world. This car represents extremes of hedonism; it is a car without compromise. In a word, it is selfish."
Unfortunately, there are not yet any plans to produce the car.
