Lazio vs. Panathinaikos Live Stream: Watch Europa League Football

Lazio will host a Greek side Panathinaikos and will look to take hold of Group J and get one step closer to securing their place in the next round of the Europa League.

The Greeks currently sit at the bottom of Group J with a solitary point, but the leaders of the group have been able to come away with only four points in their first two matches, keeping the group close.

Panathinaikos manager Jesualdo Ferreira has seen his side play sporadically early on in the Europa League, losing to Maribor 3-0 for their opening match but coming from behind to draw the Tottenham Hotspurs 1-1.

But the Greek team has seen success in the past, with wins over tops clubs, including a 1-0 win over Seville in 2005 and Roma in 2010. Financial troubles have taken their toll on the club, however, and the team is now only a fraction of what it used to be.

Panathinaikos has only one win in the last nine matches in all competitions, and they have been able to keep a clean sheet in only one of the last eight game. There isn't much evidence that their defensive woes will change.

For Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic, his challenge will be to focus his club to the task at hand so as to position the team to move into the next round. Lazio has earned four points out of a possible six and should the Italian team come away with full points, they would almost certainly be guaranteed a spot in the next round.

It will benefit Lazio playing at home, given their away record has been less than stellar in the Europa League, with only two wins in seven matches the past two years. They have also only scored one time in their last four away games, so familiar fans at home should help with the club's confidence.

Kick-off for the match is at 1:00 p.m. EDT and can be watched online here.
