Lea Michele New Guy: 'Glee' Actress Enjoys Romantic Stroll With Matthew Paetz (PHOTOS)

Lea Michele stepped out with her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz in Los Angeles on Friday.

The "Glee" star, 27, was photographed taking a romantic stroll with Paetz at a local park over the weekend followed by a hike. Michele, who was beaming throughout the date, wore a grey, red and white summer dress and sandals while her date kept it casual in brown pants and a denim jacket with a white shirt.

The pair reportedly met on the set of Michele's music video for her song "On My Way." They have been seemingly inseparable ever since.

The romance comes one year after the tragic death of Michele's late boyfriend and former "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith.

"She had just come from Coachella where she was missing Cory incredibly," a source told Us magazine of the new couple. "[The video shoot] was a big party and a really therapeutic moment for her."

Paetz describes himself on Twitter as a dating and lifestyle coach, but there are rumors regarding his alleged past as a male escort, according to TMZ.com. Michele and Paetz have not publicly addressed dating reports.

Monteith, who played Finn Hudson alongside Michele on the popular TV series, died from mixed drug toxicity on July 13 – he was 31.

"I really feel like I'm still trying to figure out all of this," a softspoken Michele told Ellen last year. "It's been only a few months, but my mom has experienced a lot of loss in her life and she told me at one point, she said, there is an empowerment that comes with grief, at some point you find it."

The "Cannonball" singer, who plays Rachel Berry on the musical TV series, began dating her former co-star in early 2012 and she still struggles with his untimely death.

"It's very hard but you will find it and I think at a certain point you can choose to sort of fall from this or you can choose to rise," she said.

"And that's what I'm just trying to do my best for him because I know that that's what he would have wanted," she continued. "And to just do my best and to you know, hopefully make something positive for where I go in the rest of my life."
