Lea Michele Reveals Cory Monteith's Last Words to Her; Couple Discussed Having Children Before Death

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were quite happy in their relationship when he died of a fatal mixture of drugs and alcohol. Michele recently revealed what his last words to her were and that they were considering having children.

"We talked about a lot of things," Michele told Glamour U.K. "We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. We were done. We were it. When you're at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything. But today I feel like I was given the best part of Cory and I'm thankful for that."

The 27-year-old revealed that the title of her song, "If You Say So" are the last words he said to her before dying in 2013. The song is featured on her new album, "Louder."

"It's just a week ago, you said I love you girl / I said I love you more, and a breath, a pause, you said if you say so," the song's lyrics state. They are based on the last conversation the two had before Monteith's untimely death.

The two met on the set of "Glee" and hit it off while portraying a couple on the series. His death caught everyone off guard, but Michele took it extremely hard, given the nature of their relationship. Now, though, she says she is a "little bit more back together" and is refocused on living her own life, albeit without Monteith.

"Now I feel a little bit more back together and I have this blank canvas in front of me, which is what my life can be. There's something sad about that but also something good, because I will take that blank canvas and make something beautiful out of it," Michele said.
