LeAnn Rimes Tries to Mend Feud With Brandi Glanville on Twitter

LeAnn Rimes recently attempted to mend her ongoing feud with Brandi Glanville on Twitter following her 2009 affair with Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes, 35, tweeted a photo of her step-son dressed in Hawaiian gear alongside a mention to Glanville, the boy's birth mother.

"Had to share his luau fabulousness!!!! Mom and he are gonna rock out today. @brandiglanville have Fun!" Rimes Tweeted.

Glanville, who has always been vocal about her dislike for Rimes, did not respond to the tweet.

Rimes, who is now married to Cibrian, began dating the struggling actor while they were both married to other people.

Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet at the time and her affair with Cibrian consequently added tension to her relationship with her now ex-husband, which she tried to ease after reaching out to Glanville.

"@Deansheremet I'm so sorry. She looks so beautiful here, always did. Surreal, I hope you are ok. I can't imagine," Rimes tweeted after learning that Sheremet's grandmother had passed away.

Sheremet, who has since remarried, did respond to Rimes and thanked her for the well wishes.

"Thanks Le, she loved you. Your condolences mean a lot," Sheremet tweeted.

Rimes' tweet comes just one month after Glanville, 39, gave a controversial interview in which she recounted her emotions after Cibrian left her for the singer.

"I remember walking up to soccer practice and there she was with my baby in her lap," Brandi told Australia's NW Magazine. "My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her.

"But that was the first time I saw her that way ... she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she's got my kid on her lap and she's with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury," she added.

Glanville denied saying that she wanted to kill Rimes and blasted the magazine for printing an "incorrect" article.

Rimes has previously acknowledged her wrongdoing and in an interview said that she lacked the proper tools to do the right thing.

"I know I didn't do it the right way. I didn't have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way. I'd never been taught that," Rimes said on program "Backstory: LeAnn Rimes," which aired on the Great American Country channel.
