LeBron James and Savannah Brinson have reportedly chosen their wedding date, according to a "Save The Date" note obtained by a celebrity gossip site.

The invitation lists San Diego, California as the official ceremony and reception destination, according to TMZ.com.

The "Save the Weekend" note from the couple features a caricature of the family grinning aboard a plane into an exotic location.

The news comes just days after Brinson, 26, was forced to address ongoing speculation that her engagement to James, 28, was in jeopardy. The mother of two has been uncharacteristically absent from James' basketball engagements in recent weeks fueling, speculation that the Miami Heat star was getting cold feet.

"Some people have nothing better to do than starting rumors," Brinson allegedly told GossipExtra at a recent Miami society gala.

"It's not because we're not together 24/7 that we're having problems," she said before confirming "Yes, we are definitely getting married, but I'm not telling you when or where!"

James' fellow Heat players, including good friends Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, are expected to attend the star-studded ceremony. Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and wife Beyonce are also rumored to be on the guest list.

The couple, who shares two sons, LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 5, got engaged in 2011 at Miami Beach's Shelborne Hotel where James was celebrating his 27th birthday party. The Heat forward reportedly surprised Brinson with a $450,000 sparkler.

"It was real cool ... It was an opportunity for me with my personal life, so it was good. My girl, she's very excited," James said about his New Year's Eve proposal.

"She would love to answer more questions about it than me. But she's happy, my family's happy and that's what it's all about. … It should be a surprise. For any woman, any time something like that happens, she was surprised," James added.
