Holder, who has served as a Democratic correspondent for Fox, made the controversial comments while engaging in a debate with host Sean Hannity regarding New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's goal to expand his ban on large sugary sodas beyond his city and into the entire state of New York.

Hannity also expounded on Bloomberg's plans to decrease public smoking and salt content in restaurant foods in future legislation.

Holder argued that she believes Obamacare, or the Affordable Health Care Act, exists because Republicans are too unhealthy to take care of themselves.

"All Republicans, or most Republicans, are fat [expletive] and they're the ones who get stuck eating [unhealthy food]," Holder told Hannity.

"Isn't it funny that the Republicans, the most conservative Republicans are from the South?" Holder continued. "And they're the fattest state."

"I agree that the government shouldn't regulate, and we're in control of ourselves. But what happens is that Republicans overeat, and they overindulge in everything," Holder continued.

"Why do we have Obamacare? Because of the fat Republicans who drive through Wal-Mart in their buggies," Holder added.

Holder has since received public backlash for her controversial comments, with many angry viewers taking to Twitter to contest her rant, deeming it unprofessional and biased.

"It's the Unhinged: Liberals Gone Wild version of Hannity Live tonight," Michelle Malkin jokingly tweeted.

"Most republicans I know defy [Holder's comments]," tweeted Madeleine McAulay.

Others focused on Holder's blatant stereotyping of both Southerners and Republicans as a whole.

"Pretty sure I could outlift and outrun Tamara Holder. May want to rethink conservative stereotypes," tweeted Dana Loesch.

"Tamara Holder is clearly an embarrassment," tweeted Ben Dreyfuss.
