Lindsay Lohan A Suspect in $100,000 Jewelry Heist?

Lindsay Lohan has been identified as a suspect in an alleged jewelry heist that occurred on Aug. 19 at the Hollywood Hills home of her friend Sam Magid.

The 25-year-old, who is currently on probation for a separate jewelry theft case stemming from 2011, is wanted for questioning by the LAPD as is her assistant Gavin Doyle, according to new reports.

The troubled actress slept at Magid's home following his house party and the next morning he discovered that someone had stolen $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses from the residence. He immediately called police, according to TMZ.com.

Lohan and other party guests were interviewed by local police, but denied having any involvement in the alleged heist. In recent days, Magid has recanted his story, insisting that nothing was stolen, but police are still pursuing the investigation because they allegedly have witnesses who claim that Lohan and Doyle stole property.

In February of 2011, the "Mean Girls" actress was charged with the theft of a necklace which had been reported stolen by a Los Angeles jewelry store. She was subsequently sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service for misdemeanor theft and probation violation, to which she had pled no contest.

If Lohan is formally charged in the case involving Magid, she will be in breach of her current probation terms and therefore could potentially face jail time.

In April, Lohan was accused of nightclub battery after an unidentified woman filed an incident report with the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department. Although the actress has denied having any involvement in the incident, the matter reportedly remains unresolved.

Lohan has allegedly been in court at least 19 times since being arrested in 2007. Additionally, she has spent at least 250 days in rehab, 35 days in home confinement, has completed 67 days of community service, spent 19 days in court and has made six trips to jail, according to CNN.com.
