Lindsay Lohan to Host SNL on March 3

Actress Lindsay Lohan will be hosting an episode of NBC's Saturday Night Live next month.

Lohan will be returning to the show for her fourth time on March 3 as the guest host. The musical guest scheduled for that night is Jack White.

The actress served as guest host of the show in 2004, 2005 and 2006 before her career began to go downhill. Lohan's made headlines in recent days for her issues with drug abuse, multiple arrests and her decision to pose nude for Playboy magazine.

The SNL gig is the first of a few positive steps Lohan is taking in order to get her career back on track. She also landed a role in the upcoming lifetime movie "Liz and Dick," where she will play the great Elizabeth Taylor, according to a report from Access Hollywood.

This appears to be somewhat of a dream job for Lohan, who has been known in the past to have an affinity for old Hollywood culture.

The actress is allowed to participate in the film as long as she complies with her court mandates.

This made-for-television film will feature the story of Elizabeth Taylor's relationship with Welsh actor Richard Burton. The two were married in 1964 and led a turbulent life together, constantly being in the news.

The film will feature the two during their days on the set of the film "Cleopatra" and also portray them during their two other marriages and subsequent divorces.

Despite some of the positive things happening in Lohan's life these days, she can't seem to avoid trouble. She was recently slapped with a lawsuit stemming from allegations that she drove her car into a nanny pushing a baby carriage and refused to stop.

The child was not injured in the accident, but the nanny is claiming that she suffered disabling and serious personal injuries.
