Kim Kardashian will also be in attendance as well as Jimmy Kimmel for comedic relief.

"I will feast on stupid comments," Kimmel told Reuters referring to the elections. "There seems to be a glut of dumb things being said."

Lohan has recently been trying to piece her life back together after facing difficulties for the past several years. Other new gigs include her portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor for the Lifetime Network and an appearance on Glee.

Some of the "Glee" cast members however, weren't happy when the star showed up late on the set Wednesday morning, following a night of partying.

"Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I'd rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!"
Dot Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste, posted on Twitter.

It was later confirmed by TMZ that Lohan was the missing piece.

Lohan, though, was attending a paid gig. Star offered the actress a paycheck to show up at the magazine-sponsored event, which took place Tuesday night at West Hollywood's The Standard Hotel.

Show director Eric Stoltz excused Lohan's tardy behavior, suggesting that she had been "very professional" throughout the week.

"We're told she nailed her lines and was very polite to cast and crew," TMZ reported, adding that she had been on time for other scenes in which she played a larger role, and that her tardiness had not held up production.
