Lisa Rinna Responds to Lip Criticism via Twitter

Lisa Rinna has addressed the backlash of opening up about her famed lips via Twitter on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old actress appeared on Monday's "Today" show speaking candidly about many topics, including her oversized lips.

Best known for her roles on "Best Days of our Lives" and "Melrose Place," Rinna admitted that she had received silicone injections over 25 years ago, but recently had them removed.

Despite the injection removal, Rinna's lips are still puffy, and many viewers criticized the actress for the procedure. However, the actress vehemently denied any regrets.

"I don't have regrets," the "Soap Talk" host posted to Twitter following her television appearance. "What a waste of time."

As for those sounding off about Rinna's lip trouble, the actress added, "What you think about me is none of my business."

"Be yourself; everyone else is taken. –Oscar Wilde," she later posted.

Meanwhile, on the "Today" show, Rinna provided honest insight on her experience with silicon lip injections.

"I had a doctor remove as much as they possibly could because it got to a point where they were yucky," explained the actress. "They get hard! I mean it's gross. So they are not just whatever that was after they took out as much as the silicon as they could find."

Rinna currently appears as a contestant on "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" alongside Donald Trump, but she recently revealed the possibility of another prominent reality series- "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Noting that she was only lightly considering the show, Rinna added, "Oh, I'm so nervous, I'm like sweating," while on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" this week.

"I don't know what it would be like once you get in that rat's nest of it all," the actress said.

Rinna would be added to season four of the reality television series known as "RHOBH." Past seasons have starred Kyle Richards, Adrienne Maloof, and Camille Grammer.
