The defending Stanley Cup champs got off to the worst possible start in the playoffs by losing two straight games to the St Louis Blues. But they then got into gear and won six in a row, and got their noses out front against the San Jose Sharks in the Semifinals. But they were pushed back, and they ended up needing all seven games to come through.
