Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs takes place in the NBA Playoffs Round 1 Game 3 on Friday night, as the Lakes look to get back into the series with a win. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7.30 p.m. PT and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Spurs come into this game with a 2-0 lead in the series, however, the Lakers will be hoping that home advantage at the Staples Center can help them claw their way back into the series.
However, team news does not make for good reading for the Lakers' fans, and their squad is even more depleted entering this game Friday night; Steve Nash, Steve Blake, as well as Jodie Meeks are all expected to miss Game 3 tonight.
Through the first two games the Lakers have been unable to cope with the efficiency of the Spurs team at both ends of the court. Some reports have claimed that Los Angeles could try out a backcourt of NBA D-League MVP Andrew Goudelock and Darius Morris.
However, most analysts have the Spurs taking this one, and are confident they will continue their march on to the Western Conference semi final.
The Spurs will be looking to Tony Parker to continue taking the Lakers' players back to school; he scored 28 points and seven assists in Game 2, and if Los Angeles cannot contain him more tonight they will struggle.
Parker is a pivotal player for the Spurs offense, and if the Lakers can manage to silent him somewhat then that will be a big way to keeping the rest of the San Antonio team quiet.
