Madonna Photos Showcase Singer's Bruises, Swollen Lip

Madonna photos have surfaced with the singer's body bruised in several places, stemming from constant rehearsals to prepare for her upcoming tour.

Madonna's photos of her bruises were posted by the singer herself with the album title "From tour rehearsals," leading many users and fans to believe that the 53-year-old singer was accidentally damaged in the pursuit of difficult dances moves or steps.

The first close picture is of a purplish contusion on Madonna's leg. "Bruises on my leg from rehearsal" was the caption, and the injury was met with an outpouring of support by fans.

Madonna's world tour will start May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel, and won't come to the U.S. until August 28, where she will put on a show in Philadelphia. The tour should showcase music from her newest album, MDNA, which will be released March 26.

So far, MDNA has two singles, "Give Me All Your Luvin'"- which Madonna performed with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. at the Super Bowl halftime show- and "Girl Gone Wild."
