Manchester United will host Norwich City at Old Trafford with the Canaries looking to build on their shock victory over the Red Devils last November.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will have to decide whether to field his first team against Norwich or rotate some of his squad, knowing that his side will face Real Madrid in the second leg of the knock-out stage in the Champions League on Tuesday.

After injuring his hip during the win over Queens Park Rangers, Robin van Persie is rumored to be ready to start and may see limited playing time to assure he his healthy to face Real Madrid.

Long time United midfielder Ryan Giggs will make his 1,000th career appearance to go along with being the only player to score in every Premier League season, in addition to several other records he has earned over his 23 year career.

Ferguson will have to contend with the absence of Paul Scholes and Phil Jones, but could have the pair back in time for United's Champions League tie.

Chris Hughton and Norwich will be wise to review match tapes of the club's 1-0 victory against United at Carrow Road ahead of their meeting on Saturday seeing as the Canaries were the last club that the Red Devils lost to.

Their task will be made harder given that they will be without midfielder Alex Tettey because of a knee injury. Winger Andrew Surman is also slated to miss this match and England goalkeeper John Ruddy continues his rehabilitation from thigh surgery, but it looks as though he can return at the end of this month.

Major League Soccer's Kei Kamara, who is on-loan from Sporting Kansas City, could make his first start for the club after scoring in the win over Everton.
