Mangham Police Releases Detailed Report About Corey Feldman's Recent Arrest

After Corey Feldman had been arrested for marijuana possession in Louisiana, the former child actor took to Twitter to set the record straight regarding his recent arrest. In a series of tweets, Feldman explained his side of the story and emphasized that he only received a misdemeanor, but he was not put in jail.

"HI #EVERYBODY & HAPPY 22ND! 4 THE RECORD, I WAS NOT ARRESTED OR PUT IN JAIL. I RECEIVED A MISDEMEANOR IN LOUISIANA, DUE 2 A MEMBER OF MY CREW HAVING MEDICAL MARIJUANA, WITH A LEGAL CA PRESCRIPTION, I HAD NOTHING ON ME, BUT WAS CHARGED BECAUSE ITS MY BUS. aLSO 5 OTHERS WERE CHARGED DUE 2 HAVING LEGAL MEDICINES WITHOUT THEIR PARTICULAR BOTTLES," tweeted the actor.

Feldman went on to explain that no illegal or street drugs were found on his bus at all, so none of them had to spend their night behind bars. He also revealed that the authorities promised to drop the charges against them if they would be able to provide proof of proper scripts. The actor described the timing of the incident as "ironic," saying that after paying his $640 fine, the authorities even asked for photographs with him and then called the local newspaper to do interviews.

Shortly after Feldman's Twitter posts, the Mangham police released a detailed report of the incident, stating that the actor was initially arrested not because of marijuana but because of speeding. The report revealed that on Oct. 21, Officer Waters stopped an RV for speeding somewhere in Mangham, and when he made contact with the driver, he found out that it was Feldman. When he asked for his driver's license and discovered that it was suspended, he brought him to the Mangham Police Department, where the authorities smelled what appeared to be marijuana. However, Feldman was able to pay his fine and was therefore released.
