Marquette vs Davidson takes place in the NCAA 2013 tournament on Thursday with the Golden Eagles and Wildcats both looking to win this second round match up and claim their spot in the third round. The game is scheduled to tip off at 3.10 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The No. 3 Marquette Golden Eagles will be the favorites for today's game against the No. 14 Davidson Wildcats. Marquette did well to finish the season with an overall record of 23-8, and a record of 14-4 in the Big East, which is widely considered the toughest conference in college basketball.

Marquette have had to face tough opposition all year, and that should mean they are ready to take on all comers in March Madness. They have gained a reputation for having a tight defense, allowing just 63 points per game and also claiming more than their fair share of turnovers.

Meanwhile, Davidson had an overall season record of 26-7, and won their last 17 games straight. They should be in confident form and will believe they can turn over the Golden Eagles.

The Wildcats are the southern conference champions, but will be more widely remembered for their 2008 exploits when they went all the way through to the Elite Eight with now-NBA star Stephen Curry.

Davidson have shot 37 percent for three pointers as a team, and 80 percent from the foul line. They will be looking to big game player Jake Cohen to make some serious inroads in the opposition today. At 6 foot 10 inches he is an imposing figure, and is shooting 39 percent from behind the arc.

Marquette vs Davidson is scheduled to tip off at 3.10 p.m. ET and will be televised on TruTV. The game can also be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.
