McGee's plan to release his national debut project Worship Through the Valley will be done together with Crowne Music and Word Distribution. Although McGee's music on Worship Through the Valley will be revelaed to audiences on January 27th, 2004, those who attended the Wednesday youth service where McGee would lead praise during his college years would have already heard what he is capable of. Songs which McGee intended for students to use during their personal studies became the eleven tracks on Worship Through the Valley.

The title for the project touches on how God leads people through even the most difficult times in their lives. A difficult time could be used to describe what McGee experienced when his uncle, Pastor Rick Ferguson of the Riverside Baptist Church in Denver, was died in a car wreck. "More of You, Lord" was a song dedicated in honor of Dr. Ferguson.

"In some of the deepest valleys of life," Matt shares, "God has taught me lessons about faith, hurting, fulfillment, betrayal, and keeping joy in Him through it all."

The single "Who Am I?" has already made it on radio stations as #62 from it's debut at #92 last week.

In partnership with Visionering, Inc., McGee will also participate in "Discover the Destiny Ministries." These are conferences for High School and College students to teach about a life of worship beyond the worship services.
