Matthew Fox Punches Female Bus Driver

Actor Matthew Fox is accused of punching a female bus driver in her chest and stomach early Sunday morning in Cleveland. Heather Bormann, 29, drives a charter bus and was attacked by the former Lost actor when she refused to let him abroad her bus rented for a bachelor party.

Bormann says that around 1:30am, she was speaking with two of the 17 men on her bus when Fox walked up and tried to get on. She claims that before attempting to board her bus, the actor approached other drivers and asked for a ride to his hotel.

Bormann wanted to keep her passengers under control and told them to not get involved in the situation. However, before she knew what was happening, Fox starting “swinging on her,” leaving bruises on her arms, right leg, thighs and chest.

Bormann told how she was sure the actor would stop attacking her, but the blows just continued. She was forced to defend herself by punching Fox in the mouth.

“I took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood, said Bormann, this was the only way I could protect myself…from a man beating up on a woman.”

Bormann says that Fox was “inebriated” when he attacked her and the actor smelled like a bar. It took three men to pull him away from Bormann. Although the actor was not arrested, an off-duty police officer detained him until the authorities arrived.

A spokesperson for the Cleveland Police explained, “Officers do not have to arrest on a misdemeanor charge (assault) unless they witnessed it.”

Therefore, if Bormann wants to press charges, she can, and she will.

She confirmed Monday afternoon that will be speaking with the prosecutor and pressing charges against Fox.

“I’m pressing charges. Assault is wrong. I really do feel violated. He was hitting me in places I didn’t think anybody would hit me…my breast area, my pelvis area. After the third time I told him to get off my bus, he just stepped in for a right hook to my pelvis area and started wailing on me like I was a man,” Bormann said.

“I told him several times that he was trespassing, that it was a private party. He never said a word to me; he just stood there staring at me,” she said.

Fox was released early Monday morning into the custody of a friend. Police continue to investigate the allegations.
