Mel Gibson to Discuss 'Passion' on Primetime Live

Tonight on a special edition of ABC's Primetime Live, director Mel Gibson discusses the controversy surrounding his film about the death and resurrection of Jesus, The Passion of the Christ. Gibson discusses his reasons for making the film as well as defends it against the charges of anti-semetism. Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, also shares his views on Gibson's film.

The Passion of the Christ has garnered unprecedented attention for a film on the life of Jesus, recieving endorsments from media outlets and Christian leaders from across the spectrum, including Billy Graham, Lee Strobel, Bill Bright, and Rick Warren.

This edition of Primetime Live will air on ABC tonight at 10 PM EST/PST.
