The Dolphins were full of optimism going into Week 4 having won three straight games to start the season to go 3-0. A solid opening day win where they defeated Cleveland 23-10, was followed up with an assured 24-20 win over Indianapolis. Then in Week 3 things got even better when they took down the Atlanta Falcons 27-23.

However, from then on it has been downhill for Miami. They were destroyed by New Orleans 17-38, and then suffered a second successive defeat 23-26 to Baltimore.

They will not want all their early season hard work to be completely undone, and if they can get back to 4-2 again today then they will be relatively satisfied with their position going into week 8. However, if they enter Week 8 at 3-3 they will be hugely disappointed and when the heads go down, it could mean for a long hard struggle through the rest of the season.

The Bills meanwhile are 2-4 having lost their last two games as well. They will be equally as desperate to stop the rot, and will see the Miami game as a good opportunity to get themselves back on track against a fellow struggling team.

Buffalo are likely hoping to utilize the rush, where they have been successful so far this season. In rush they are ranked third in the NFL with 148.8 yards per game. But their pass offense has been almost non existent, ranked 28th in the league with less than 200 yards per game.
