Michael Schumacher Condition Latest Update: Mercedes Still Sponsoring F1 Star
Mercedes-Benz confirms Michael Schumacher to retain ambassadorship as the athlete is continuing his recovery program from a skiing accident last December. Recent speculations circulated that the racer's condition might push the German car manufacturer to reconsider its relationship with the Formula 1 legend.
However, Mercedes-Benz reportedly said that it will retain its commitment of sponsorship with Schumacher, despite him being unable to communicate effectively.
As remembered, Benz appointed the celebrated driver to the role April last year, right after his Grand Prix campaign.

Daimler chairman – the company that owns Mercedes – Dr. Dieter Zetsche told the German publication Bild that "We have given no thoughts to changing something in his contract."
With regards to Schumachers recent news of recovery, Zetsche expressed delight with the development.
"We hope fervently that it continues," he told the newspaper.
The chairman, however, wasn't able to visit Schumacher in the hospital or at the rehabilitation facility after the tragic incident because he respected the family's plea for privacy.
Schumacher raced for Benz in Formula One between the years 2010 and 2012 and was reported to have raked 20 million euros.
The accident that occurred in an exclusive skiing resort in France left the 45-year-old in a medically-induced coma following a brain hemorrhage operation and it was not until June that he awoke. He is currently being treated at Grenoble hospital in Switzerland near to his family.
Medical experts have shared their thoughts regarding the condition. They said that though there has been a rapid development, the racer may never fully recover and will rely on the help of those around him.
