Miley Cyrus was recently photographed with Liam Hemsworth for the first time in five months, new reports claim.

The celebrity couple, who got engaged in 2012, were spotted together at the Arclight movie theatre in Hollywood on Monday. Miley, 20, is said to be struggling emotionally following her parents' recent divorce announcement and Hemsworth, 23, is reportedly supporting her through the difficult time.

"For sure, [Liam's supporting her]. She's upset, yes, but she's an adult and will be fine. She loves both her parents and they will always be in her life," a source told

Country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus, 51, recently filed for divorce from Miley's mother Tish, 53, after 19-yeas of marriage. The estranged couple shares five children including their famous daughter.

"She's taking it as well as she can. No one wants their parents to end a marriage. Billy Ray and Tish are awesome people and even better parents. Miley's sad, of course, but that's between her parents. There's not much she can do," the source said.

In February it was claimed that Miley and Hemsworth were facing their own relationship woes over reports alluding to an affair between the "Hunger Games" star Hollywood actress January Jones, 35. Miley abruptly stopped wearing her engagement ring, however she quickly denied split rumors.

"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining," Miley tweeted at the time.

In recent weeks the former Disney star was photographed spending time with pop star Justin Bieber, 19, which reignited split reports however she confirmed that she is still engaged to the Australian actor.

"I'm engaged!" Miley told radio station Hot 99.5 when asked whether she is dating Bieber. "I'm engaged, that's impossible."
