Minnesota Vikings vs St Louis Rams Live Stream Free: Watch Online NFL Football (1pm ET)

The Minnesota Vikings will play the St Louis Rams on Sunday with the Rams on .500 in December for the first time since 2003 and looking for a win this weekend that would put them in with an outside chance of making the playoffs. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream via the link below.

The Rams come into this game with a record of 6-6-1 and in third position in the NFC West. They have done better than most pundits would have predicted, and the fact that they are still relevant now that December has come around is an accomplishment for the franchise.

If the Rams can win today they will move to 7-6-1 and would look to win out the season. However, to do so they will have to find a way to stop Adrien Peterson.

Peterson has been a tank for the Vikings – so far this season he has carried 265 times for 1,600 rush yards at an average of six yards per carry, claiming an impressive 10 touchdowns along the way. Many are wondering whether he could go on to break Eric Dickerson's rushing record. Whether he can or not remains to be seen, but he will undoubtedly be the main weapon being used by the Vikings to break the Rams' defenses.

The Rams have the 10th ranked defense in the NFL, and seeing as the Vikings have fairly ordinary receivers, most would expect St Louis to focus its attentions to stopping the run and in particular Adrien Peterson.

The Vikings come into this game on 7-6 with still a lot of work to do if they are to make the playoffs. The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears are fighting it out at the top of the NFC North today at the same time as this game, and another Bears loss would open the way for the Vikings to tie in second place in the division with the Bears.
