MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Shot Down for Anti-Trump Conspiracy

Rachel Maddow has been shot down by multiple liberal publications for her anti-Trump conspiracy theory of how the inclusions of Chad in the country's travel ban lead to the death of four American soldiers in Niger.

The MSNBC host introduced the theory that the decision of the Trump administration to include Chad in the United States' travel ban resulted in the deaths of the American soldiers during an ambush in Niger, which was discriminated by multiple Liberals like Maddow herself.

Janet Malcolm of The New Yorker described Maddow's segment as only "TV entertainment" and that it's only a tool to help liberals "enjoy themselves."

Meanwhile, according to Willa Frej of HuffPost, Maddow's suggestion that Chad's pull out of their troops from Niger resulted in an increase in ISIS attacks appears to be false.

Locals from Niger have witnessed that the attacks increased even before Chad retreated their troops, which was when Boko Haram militants began to form as the Islamic State West Africa, assistant professor in Colby College Department of Government Laura Seay explained.

The new Islamic State West Africa had no relations with the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara, which was the militant group that ambushed the Green Berets and lead to the death of the four American soldiers.

Seay added that the Chadian troops were only in Niger to fight off the Boko Haram new army, and they had no responsibility regarding the militant group in the Greater Sahara. She added that there is no apparent connection between the travel ban and Chadian's retreat of troops.

"It may have already been planned and [the travel ban] was the straw that broke the camel's back. Chadians didn't want to keep their forces there forever and were at least looking to scale down. If we do see the travel ban lifted I'm not sure you'd see the Chadians go back in," Seay explained.

Regardless of the backlash, Maddow stays true to her report.

"The upset over my reporting doesn't mean that anything I reported wasn't true," Maddow said on her segment last Friday, Fox News confirmed.
