Natalie Portman Dior Ad Makes Waves

Although she just recently became a married woman, Natalie Portman's new advertisements for Dior have stolen the media spotlight.

The Oscar-winning actress appears topless in the latest ad for the high-fashion label and wears subtle smoky eye shadow with glossed lips.

Moreover, the ad introduces Dior's eight new additions to their lip color line, and features the 31-year-old wearing Rouge Dior Nude Lipcolor.

Also included in the eight new lip colors is hue Grege #169, of which all proceeds will go to Portman's charity Free the Children.

"I chose the color Grege because it's the one I'd pick to wear myself," explained Portman in a statement. "The number (169) contains different dates that are important to me and my family."

The actress' alliance with the Dior brand came after a dramatic fallout. Portman publicly condemned Dior chief designer John Galliano for his anti-Semitic remarks.

"I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments," said Portman in a statement at the time.

"In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way," she continued. "I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."

Dior promptly replaced Galliano with Raf Simons.

Portman has posed for the luxury makeup brand before in the perfume ad for Miss Dior Cheir in January 2011.

The new ads for the luxury brand arrive just weeks after Portman wed longtime boyfriend Benjamin Millepied with whom she starred in "Black Swan." The couple wed in the Big Sur area of the Central California coast. They share a son, Aleph, born in June 2011.
