NBA 2K15 Release Date Scheduled for October 7, 2014 - Soundtrack by Pharrell Williams

NBA 2K15 is an upcoming basketball simulation game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. The title will be the 16th installment of the NBA 2K games franchise and is scheduled for a release on Oct. 7 in North America for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Windows PC while the rest of the world will get an Oct. 10 release date.

The game is already up for pre-order for $59.99 and those that get a copy for pre-order will be getting the following bonuses: 5,000 in Virtual Currency, a Kevin Durant Throwback MyTeam Card, two MyTeam Card Packs of the buyer's choice, and MyPlayer Leg Sleeves inspired by Kevin Durant. Durant will be appearing on the cover of the game.

The soundtrack of the game is curated by Pharrell Williams, as revealed last month, and will feature a diverse and upbeat track listing featuring artists from Afrika Bambaataa to The Strokes, and will even feature three tracks from Pharrell himself - "Hunter," "Can I Have it Like That" featuring Gwen Stefani, and "How Does it Feel?"

One of the most played game modes, MyCareer mode, is getting a storyline -- as was announced since last year -- and will be adding intrigue to the game mode. This year, gamers will not only get a story added to their careers but will also be given the ability to scan their faces into the game if they own a PlayStation camera or an Xbox Kinect.

Developers have been focusing on making the game as realistic as possible, and did by not only improving graphics but also giving the players their own voices for the games. Mentors will also be getting their own voices compared to NBA 2K14 when they had none.
