The fairytale story of the Dayton Flyers came to an end on Saturday night as No. 1 seeds, the Florida Gators, dominated the game winning 62-52. The game was tight for long periods, but as the action moved towards its climax, Florida upped a gear and tightened its defense significantly to pull away from Dayton.

The Gators were able to nearly shut down the Flyers offense completely for a stretch, and when the game ended, Dayton had only managed to score a season-low points haul of 52.

In Saturday's other game, a dramatic game between No. 1 seeds Arizona and No. 2 seeds Wisconsin ended in a breathtaking manner. Many had predicted there was little between these two teams and that's how it proved.

At the end of the first half, Arizona had their noses in front 28-25, but a tense back and forth between the teams saw the second half end three points in Wisconsin's favor, leaving the teams deadlocked and heading for overtime.

Overtime was no less dramatic, and a single point separated the teams at the end, with Wisconsin claiming the win 64 to 63.

That win sparked wild celebrations from the Wisconsin fans as they booked their place in the Final Four, and move to just one win away from the dream Championship game.
