NeNe Leakes Gets Candid About Singing Career of Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Porsha Williams

NeNe Leakes is being candid about her thoughts concerning fellow "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams starting a music career.

Leakes, the 46-year-old actress and reality television star, has seen fellow cast mates like Kim Zolciak, Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss release various types of music with their popularity buzzing from the popular Bravo T.V. show. After 32-year-old Williams announced her desire to release her brand of music to the world, Leakes did not hold back her opinion.

"I think Porsha is talented…I think she can sing, I just think that it's not taken seriously enough," Leakes told theGrio.com recently. "Hopefully it will work for Porsha."

However, Williams told theGrio.com that she has been serious enough to record music in a studio.

"I'm in the studio," she told theGrio.com. "I'm working on a song that is amazing and it speaks to my past relationship and it's gonna be released really soon."

Still, Williams revealed that she will not put a full album just yet.

"It will be about 5 songs," she said. "I'm not gonna really jump all the way out there because these are coming from my heart. I'm not gonna put too much on myself and say 13 [tracks]… a whole album."

Leakes insisted that she can also sing. However, she is not going to be following in Williams' footsteps anytime soon.

"I definitely can sing. I think that [the Housewives] have made a mockery out of it… A lot of these girls comin' out singing who really can't sing," Leakes told theGrio.com. "It's like a mockery. I don't want to be a part of that whole circle."

It seems Leakes has her hands full with a rumored new production company that will produce three new series, according to thejasminebrand.com reports.
